In the years I’ve been doing weddings, I’ve seen my share of wedding toasts.  They’ve ranged from overly emotional, to slapstick, to a drunk cautionary tale about marriage.

But every once in a while someone gets it right.  They hold the microphone just right, have their small notes just in view on the table, speak in an engaging tone, and entertain with a joke or a story and still maintain everyone’s dignity.
