October is easily my favorite month.  The NFL season is in full swing.  Occasionally you get that wonderful fall day when you can still get in some fishing.  And my absolute favorite activity, pheasant hunting, is finally here.

But something else has become an October tradition the last few years.  As you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  And the search for a cure to breast cancer has become BeLoud Entertainment’s charity of choice due to many reasons, including some very close friends and family members who have battled this horrible disease.

And this year, I am proud to announce that BeLoud Entertainment has partnered with three major events in the movement to raise money for the fight.

New to our calendar this year, and the first event in October, is the Missouri Valley Family YMCA’s Party in Pink Zumbathon.  The event will take place on Sunday, October 7th, from 1-3pm at the Bismarck YMCA.  If you have questions, please contact Lindsey Peterson at lindsey.peterson@bismarckymca.org or call 701-255-1525 .

Speaking of Zumbathons, we will once again be teaming up with Pulse Group Fitness in Mandan for the Pulse Fitness Party in Pink Zumbathon on Saturday, October 27th, from 10am – noon at the Mandan Middle School Cafetorium.  Contact Marci and Lisa at pulsegroupfitness@yahoo.com for more information.

And if Zumba isn’t your thing and you just want a fun night out for a great cause, mark down the Bucks for Bras event at Borrowed Bucks in Bismarck on Wednesday, October 24th. They’re having live music from Shawn Oban, trip giveaways, auctions, a bra decorating contest and style show, and much more.  We donated the time, server hosting and management of the website, so stop by http://www.bucksforbras.com and get signed up for advanced tickets or to reserve a table.

So please join BeLoud Entertainment and many others in the fight against breast cancer by attending one, or even all, of the events listed above.  Together we can all help those battling breast cancer and move towards finding a cure!

See you all there!
